Regional Substance Abuse Recovery System

We have built a regional system to provide holistic workforce development services to individuals who are in recovery.

Since 2018, SEIWIB has endeavored to integrate WorkOne services into the existing Regional Substance Abuse Recovery System, to facilitate a pathway to substantive employment for all that can benefit from it. SEIWIB began this work around recovery, leveraging a grant to treat assist or service individuals impacted by the opioid crisis. We continue to grow this work through additional grants and partnerships, including with our justice community.

Southeast Indiana Workforce Investment Board is the Workforce Development Board for Bartholomew, Dearborn, Decatur, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland counties.

SEIWIB is the primary convener of the public workforce system in the larger region, and is registered as a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization with the Internal Revenue Service.
